The Cemetery Committee at a meeting on July 21, 2025, stated they need to remove from the bylaws to state no bushes, trees or shrubs planted by the graves. Norman and Peggy will remove some rose bushes from some graves.
I think the family members of those graves should have been informed of this being done. I suggest if you want your voice heard to go to the next committee meeting. The next meeting is today Wednesday September 24 at 3:00pm in the Shirley Public Library.
